  • March 18: Barney performs a sing-along show at Vets Memorial Stadium in Phoenix, Arizona.
  • June 3: Barney makes an appearance at the Fletcher Parent Child Center in Chicago, Illinois where children from the center were selected to provide background vocals for the songs that will be performed for A Day in the Park with Barney.
  • June 7: Barney visits Liverpool, England and performs two sing-along shows at 12:30 and 3:00pm at the Everyman Theatre.
  • June 11: Barney, Baby Bop, and BJ perform a sing-along show in Boston, Massachusetts to promote the opening of A Day in the Park with Barney.
  • June 24: Barney, Baby Bop and BJ perform a sing-along show at the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman, OK for The Children of Oklahoma.
  • July 2: Barney, Baby Bop, and BJ perform a sing-along show in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to promote the opening of A Day in the Park with Barney.
  • July 4: Barney makes an appearance in the Independence Day Parade to promote the opening of A Day in the Park with Barney.
  • July 11: A Day in the Park with Barney opens at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.
  • August 20-21: Barney, Baby Bop, and BJ perform a sing-along show at the Canadian National Exhibition Grandstand in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It sold out with nearly 60,000 tickets sold.
  • September 16-17: Barney, Baby Bop, and BJ perform at the Grand Ole Opry.
  • October 28: Barney, Baby Bop and BJ performed three half-hour sing-along show at the Kingdome in Seattle, WA. The event was sponsored by KVTS-TV to support Seattle Children's Hospital and Medical Center. 12,000 tickets were sold for each show.[1]
  • November 23: Barney, BJ and Baby Bop appear on a circus themed float for The 69th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
