  • March 5-6: Barney performs at the Scotch Hall Shopping Centre in Ireland for three shows each day at 1PM, 3PM and 5PM.[6]
  • March 27-April 24: The Brazilian version of Barney's Colorful World! performed at Vivo Rio in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
  • April 2-5: Barney's Space Adventures performed at Kowloon Bay International Trade & Exhibition Centre in Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong.
  • April 6: Barney makes an appearance at Primrose Preschool in Dunwoody, GA as a part of local station WXIA-TV's and Nina Brown's collaboration with Random Acts Of Kindness. Students were given tickets for Barney Live in Concert - Birthday Bash! which was performed the next day at Philips Arena in Atlanta.[7]
  • May 24: Barney appears at the "Go Healthy Step-A-Thon" in Times Square in New York City, New York with Chica and Kelly from Sprout's Sunny Side Up Show in honor of NBCUniversal's Second Annual "Healthy Week".
  • June 2-4: Barney's Space Adventures performed at Dubai Airport Expo in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
  • June 15: Barney attends the NBC Universal VIP party during the Cable Show 2011 at Privet Nightclub and Lounge in Chicago, Illinois.
  • July 15-17: Barney performs Barney's Sing Along Show at Tweetsie Railroad, North Carolina's first theme park at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM and and was available to pose with guests for photos at 11:45 AM and 2:45 PM.[8]
  • July 27: Barney visits Kelvin Slush Truck, a New York-based food truck, in New York City, in honor of the slush called "Barney's Super-dee-duper slush". From 12:30-1PM EST, the first fifteen fans that sang "I Love You" to Barney won a free Super-Dee-Duper slush.[9] The same day, Barney visited other places such as Union Square's Farmers' Market and Starbucks.
  • August 18-21: Una Tarde con Barney y Sus Amigos performed at Gran Teatro del Banco Central del Paraguay in Asunción, Paraguay.
  • September 2: Barney's Space Adventures performs at Palais des Congres (Dbaye).
  • November 21: From 9AM-1PM, Barney appears at the Comcast Center Market in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with Chica and Kelly from Sprout's Sunny Side Up Show in honor of Sprout’s Kindness Counts event.
  • November 24: Barney rides on the Hats Off To Our Heritage float, alongside other children's characters, at The 85th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
  • November 25-26: Barney's Space Adventures performed at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
  • December 3: Barney attends a free family activity day at the opening of the Tweeddale Centre in Carshalton in England.[10]
  • December 11: Barney Live in Concert - Birthday Bash! ends its tour at the SRC Arena in Syracuse, New York.

  • February 13-16: New Barney products are featured at the New York Toy Fair by Russ/Applause.
  • February: HIT Entertainment entered into a licensing deal with Classic Imports, for a full line of retro Barney products. Launched under the Toon Labs Ink label, the nostalgic line of gifts and accessories were meant to appeal specifically to tween, teen, and adult Barney fans.[11]
  • The soundtrack, Barney Live in Concert - Birthday Bash!: Original Cast Recording was only released to the live show.
  • June 14:
    • HIT Entertainment announces several licensees for a new line of retro-style Barney apparel and accessories. Alongside Classic Imports, licensees include At Full Speed, Bio World, Concept One and Planet Sox.
    • Ontel Products Corporation and CJ Products is announced to manufacture a Barney-inspired Pillow Pet.
    • Rasta Imposta is announced to be designing an adult Barney costume to complement the child’s costume they already produce.
    • Braha has obtained the license to create Barney plush puzzle mats.[12]
  • December 5: HIT Entertainment struck a deal with global toy company Techno Source, a division of LF Products, to license new Barney toys.[13] The line was expected to debut in the United States and Canada in the Spring of the following year.
