"A Camping We Will Go!" is the twenty-second episode from the first season of Barney & Friends.

Plot

Barney's friends wish to camp in the woods and he makes their wish come true. While there, Barney and his friends meet woodland creatures like a raccoon and a kookaburra. Luci also tells everyone a scary story which isn't really scary but truly funny. Then, the kids make s'mores before going home.

Hachaverim Shel Barney

• In the Hebrew version, Barney and the kids don't use the phrase "Shimbaree, Shimbarah" to go camping, instead, Barney magically transports him and the kids to the campsite, as well as transporting him and the kids back to the classroom towards the end of the episode.
• "Be Kind to Your Web-Footed Friends", and "Sarasponda" were not sung.
• "Rickey Raccoon" is sung as "Sammy Squirrel".

Broadcast

During PBS Pledge Drives, the songs, "The Other Day I Met a Bear", "Scary Stories", and "I Love the Mountains", were cut off to make it a shorter version of this episode. The "Barney Says" segment is also different.

Trivia

• This episode marks the first time Tosha appears with Min.
• This episode aired on Cinco de Mayo.
• Tosha asked the question to Barney about s'mores the same way Derek did in "Campfire Sing-Along".
• Min would sing the same verse in "Scary Stories" in "It's Raining, It's Pouring...".

Goofs

• Min's cap is missing at the end of "Little Cabin in the Forest Green", though it's possible it fell off due to her head-shaking during it.
