Adam was a character who only appeared in the Barney & the Backyard Gang videos. He was played by Alexander Jhin.
He liked to read and, according to Rock with Barney, played piano. Unlike Derek and Shawn, he was never seen without glasses. Due to Alexander Jhin feeling ill, he wasn't seen on Campfire Sing-Along and was instead replaced by Jeffrey. However, after recovering, he returned for the remaining 3 videos, but he never appeared in Barney & Friends Thus, he was replaced by Shawn (played by John David Bennett II).
