Audition[]
In 2003, to audition for Barney's Colorful World, Solcher had to compete with nineteen other young actresses who were chosen to audition for the role of "Gina". Solcher made into the final three, but she didn't know that there was going be another audition. However, one year later in 2004, the director called Solcher asking her if she could try out again. During the audition process, Solcher and a few other children were taught and performed a dance move, and then the field was narrowed down to just four finalists who had to read a script. Afterward, Solcher and her parents, Florence and Rolly Antonio, were interviewed by the Barney team.
Later, when Solcher and her family came home, they received a phone call notifying them that Solcher was chosen for the role of "Gina" for the tour.
Barney's Colorful World[]
From September 2 to December 6, 2004, at the age of eleven, Solcher portrayed "Gina" for the fourth and final leg of the international tour of Barney's Colorful World when the tour performed in the Midwest, New England, Canada, Puerto Rico and at Nokia Live in Grand Prairie, Texas.
