Amy was a character who only appeared in the Barney & the Backyard Gang video series. She was Michael's little sister and was played by Becky Swonke.

About Amy (Becky Swonke)
According to The Backyard Show, she loves to dress up and takes dance lessons. According to A Day at the Beach, Amy prefers to get into a pool slowly, rather than just jump right in. Campfire Sing-Along marked the only time she did not wear her hair in a ponytail. Instead, she wore her hair down. Also In Campfire Sing-Along, She said, "Barney, I'm getting cold!" before Barney lights the fire. In Rock with Barney, she made their last appearance before her appearance in the Barney franchise was cancelled. When Becky Swonke, the actress that played Amy, left Barney & Friends, she was replaced by Min, who was played by Pia Manalo.

Trivia
- Amy did not appear in Barney & Friends because Becky Swonke had to leave the franchise due to illness. Also, just like Adam, who was played by Alexander Jhin, she did not appear with a shorter version of Baby Bop, BJ, Riff, or Derek wearing glasses.
