Marco Angel Velasco (born July 27, 1988 in Dallas, Texas) is an American actor and singer who portrayed Robert on Barney & Friends from Seasons 4-6.
Career[]
Barney & Friends[]
Velasco debuted as "Robert" in the video Barney's Adventure Bus. Velasco portrayed "Robert" for three seasons of Barney & Friends and additional home videos.
Velasco's singing abilities were demonstrated in Barney & Friends, and a video of his cover of the song "When You Believe" can be seen on Vimeo.

In addition to working on Barney & Friends, Velasco has appeared in several television commercials.
Post-Barney[]
Velasco worked in casting for Food Dance Films in Dallas, Texas. Velasco has appeared in several local productions throughout the years including Larry Kramer Hates Me in 2013 and A Christmas Survival Guide at One Thirty Productions in 2018.[1] He is currently the house manager for Rainbow Hill Living in Los Angeles, having lived in sober living facilities throughout his life. [2] He is also a singer.
Advocacy[]
In April 2014, Angel Velasco began taking part in the "Greater Than AIDS" campaign, helping spread awareness of HIV/AIDS, which he was diagnosed with three months prior.[3] Velasco also was a resident of McIntyre House Recovery Home in Los Angeles.
