As Músicas Favoritas - Vol. 1 is the first album in the As Músicas Favoritas series as well as being Barney's first Portuguese album released. It was released in 2007 through HIT Entertainment, ST2 Music, and under the Barney Music label.
The album features a compilation of songs dubbed from the series of Barney e Seus Amigos.
Following the release of As Músicas Favoritas - Vol. 1, a sequel was released the following year.

- Despite Riff being on the cover, he is not on the album.
- Although the album claims to have Sheryl Leach and Dennis DeShazer as executive producers, they were not executive producers of the series when this album was released. However, they were executive producers during the time that some of the tracks were recorded.
