"Barney's Band" is the sixth episode from Season 5 of Barney & Friends.

Plot

The kids are excited and curious upon hearing the sound of a real band instrument. But when they discover that their friend Mr. Boyd once actually played in a band, their enthusiasm—along with Barney’s encouragement—leads them to learn all about the many different band instruments, even going so far as to create their own. But it is their dream of hearing a real band that opens the door for Barney’s magic... magic that ultimately saves the day for Mr. Boyd and creates a spectacular musical finale.

International Edits

  • In some international versions, this episode was shortened.
  • In the Korean production Baniwa Chingudeul, "Laugh With Me!" was sung. In addition, the plot was changed from a character being disappointed over a band cancellation (a la the US version) to the kids being disappointed that they can't play the musical instruments well at first.
