Barney's Fishing Adventure is a 2001 children's picture pop-up book that was written by Mark S. Bernthal.
Plot[]
On a sunny day, Barney invited his friends BJ and Baby Bop to fishing at the lake. BJ and Baby Bop thought they caught a fish, however, during the excitement, the boat's oar slipped into the water and floated away. Instead of catching fish, BJ caught an old tire and Baby Bop caught an old boot. Noticing the oars floated away, Barney casted the fishing line all the way towards the dock on a sign on his first try. Barney reeled them all to safety. BJ made a tire swing out of the tire he caught and Baby Bop planted a flower in the boot she caught. While they didn't catch any fish, Barney managed to catch a picture of one.
