Barney Says, "Play Safely" is a 1996 children's picture book that was written by Margie Larsen and Mary Ann Dudko and illustrated by Bill Langley.
It was later reprinted by Scholastic and HIT Entertainment in July 2002.
Plot[]
In this story, Barney helps BJ remember to practice safety rules as they plan for a fun day at the playground. From wearing a safety helmet while riding a bike to sliding down a slide feet first, BJ discovers the importance of playing safely.[2]
