Title card

Barney Songs from the Park is a Barney Clip Show that was released on January 7, 2003. It is the sequel to Barney Songs and More Barney Songs. It features episode clips from seasons seven and eight of Barney & Friends.

Plot

Barney shares all his favorite moments and times outside in the park and inside the caboose.

Stories: "The Lion and the Mouse" and "The Sharing Hen" (Scenes taken from "A New Friend" and "Sharing Is Caring!" respectively).

Production for the new content of this video took place in August 2002, a month after season eight of Barney & Friends began production.^{[citation needed]}

Home media

• When this video was re-released on DVD on June 15, 2010, a bonus music CD was included with five songs, "It's a Fun, Fun Sunny Day!", "Rain, Rain, Go Away", "The Duckies Do", "By Myself", and "Bubbles".
• The Brazilian Portuguese-dubbed version of this video was released in 2008 during Barney's 20th Anniversary.

Trivia

• Christa Grace Tanella, the actress who portrayed Jenna in the episode, "Play for Exercise!", makes an uncredited cameo in this video.
• This is a unique home video because there are clips from two different episodes that were not even originally aired on PBS yet. Those upcoming episodes were "A Fountain of Fun" and "Sharing Is Caring!".
• In the Arabic release of this video, the theme song was put in instrumental and during "I Love You" from "My Family and Me", the kids' vocals of the first verse is heard although the kids were not singing the first verse and in the second verse, the third verse was looped.
• The final scene for this video was reused as the ending for the Secret of the Rainbow computer game which was released six years later in 2009.
• When this video was released on DVD, it was closed captioned by Media Access Group at WGBH .
• Assumingly, this video may have been filmed after the taping of the episode It's Hot! It's Cold!, as the Lemonade Stand shown at the beginning of this video is shown at the beginning and end of that said episode.

  • The first home video in which Dean Wendt voices Barney.
  • The tenth time Barney is not seen coming to life. Instead, he is seen coming out of the caboose.
  • Another time Barney does not turn to a plush doll in the end.
