The Barney Street Celebration (also dubbed the Barney & Baby Bop Celebration) was a mini show/parade that ran at Universal Studios Florida from April 3-18, 1993, a similiar exhibit of the parade was also performed at Universal Studios Hollywood in 1993, but was dubbed as just (Barney & Friends.)
Synopsis
An entourage of children greet the crowd. They wish that Barney could join the festivities and, with a "Shimbaree, Shimbarah!," the big purple guy magically shows up on his very own float. Barney reveals he has a surprise for everyone in a giant present, which is revealed to be Baby Bop. Barney and Baby Bop encourage everyone to sing along with them to a few of their favorite songs.

Legacy
The success of the Street Celebration led The Lyons Group and Universal to consider a permanent home for Barney at the park. In November 1994, A Day in the Park with Barney was announced and opened in July the following year.
