Plot[]
With all their friends out of town, (Rusty, Tracy, and Connor as mentioned), Ben and Emma decide to play a one on one game of basketball. While playing, Ben gets distracted by seeing Barney riding in a hot air balloon. Barney floats down towards the two in the park while in the hot air balloon. When he arrives, Barney mentions to the two that the hot air balloon can take them to many places, thanks to the wind. Deciding to climb aboard, Barney takes the two on a ride in his hot air balloon around the world to visit many different countries. The first place they float over is Spain, reminiscing about the time that Barney and Ben got to meet a dancing horse, and the wonderful sights and sounds. Eventually the trio hears the sound of an airplane flying past them. The trio then float by an old building in Greece. Barney reminisces about the time he put on a play with some friends there. After the story, the trio smells cookies. Barney figures that they're flying over France given that they make tasty treats. They soon pass over the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. Emma remembers the time that Pierre, one of Barney's friends, helped her paint while they were there. Ben and Emma eventually notice kites flying in the sky around them. The trio then passes over Switzerland, where Barney and Ben reminisce about their time there. They soon pass over Venice, Italy, where Barney and Emma remember their time there riding in a gondola. The trio eventually hear drums, where Barney figures that they're flying over the country of Kenya. Barney decides to mimic the drum sounds, with Ben and Emma joining him. Ben soon notices that they've been traveling far. Barney tells him that the wind is blowing them around the world, and they eventually get blown to China. Barney begins to tell Emma and Ben that he was last here with their friend Rusty, soon reminiscing about his time. Emma soon sees islands below them, and Barney tells her that they're above Hawaii. Ben remembers the time that he learned to do the hula. The trio proceed to hula in the hot air balloon. The trio are eventually brought back home to where they started and land back in the park. Ben and Emma express how much fun they had traveling the world with Barney. Emma suggests that they should take another trip like that, with Ben suggesting the North Pole or the jungle with wild animals.

Trivia[]
- This video marked:
- The only appearance of Mrs. Adams.
- The twelfth time Barney is not seen coming to life. Instead, he is seen riding his hot air balloon when he enters the park.
- Another time where no one says goodbye to Barney at the end, but Barney also turns back into a doll.
- The second video after A-Counting We Will Go to use the season fourteen version of the theme song specifically for the new material (not counting I Can Do It! which only showcased a brief portion of the opening silhouette before transitioning to the video's title card).
- The Spanish version of the "Barney Theme Song" reverts to the original lyrics: "Barney es un dinosaurio que vive en nuestra mente.... ".
- This video was originally called "Barney's World of Friends" (not to be confused with the season eight episode, "A World of Friends").
- The DVD's front cover as well as the title card itself simply refers to this video as a movie compared to Barney's Jungle Friends, A Very Merry Christmas and the 2010 DVD re-release of Imagination Island for instance.
- The hot air balloon that Barney, Ben, and Emma are seen in the new footage is the same hot air balloon that was seen in Season 14 during the music video of "I Hear Music Everywhere".
- Emma wears the same outfit without the pink sweater in the season thirteen episode Venice, Anyone?: Italy, A-Super-Dee Duper Day, and the featurettes "Let's Make Animal Puppets!" and "Grow Your Own Garden".
