"Bugs" is the second half of the third episode from the tenth season of Barney & Friends.

Plot

The episode begins with Barney playing hide-and-seek with the children. Baby Bop announces to the group that she is helping BJ with his bug collection, and she would like everyone to see. Riff arrives shortly afterwards, explaining that he's a little afraid of bugs due to being bitten by one once.

Using the power of imagination and Riff's love of music, Barney makes it nighttime out in the Park so they may all hear the crickets sing. Riff notices that his scales lighting up attracts lightning bugs, and that they aren't as scary as he would've thought. Once, he has seen the bugs as they really are, Barney makes it day again, and the three dinosaurs go off to see if they can recreate the insects' sounds.
