"Dances with Goblins" is the twelfth episode of the first season of Barney's World.

Plot

David can't agree on what to play, so the kids end up playing different games. Barney has a hard time keeping up with both games. Silly chaos ensues, and David is reminded that it's important to consider others' perspectives, too.

"Dances with Goblins" was one of ten episodes of Barney's World to be released on the streaming service Max on January 13, 2025. Following afterwards, it made a linear premiere on January 17, 2025 on Cartoonito, the preschool block of Cartoon Network (alongside the episode "Save the Garden").

Trivia

• This episode of Barney's World marked the first time that "I Love You (I Love Me Too)" is mainly sung by the children as opposed to being mainly sung by Barney in previous episodes.
• Despite being named in the credits Mel's Dad (Luis) didn't appear or even speak in the episode.
• The episode's title is a reference to the 1988 book and subsequent film adaptation, "Dances With Wolves."
