Dean Wendt
Dean Wendt is the current voice actor for Barney. He began the role in 2001 filming for the seventh season and still voices the purple dino to this day.
Dean Wendt was born February 17, 1968 in Elign, Illinois. Dean Wendt was a co founder/creator and Disc jockey on Radio Disney from 1994-1999 Season 4-11, but left the company in order to dedicate his time to voicing Barney the Dinosaur after Bob West was retired in 1999. He has voiced in thousands of commercials, storybooks and other projects.
