Barney & Friends[]

Preview narrations[]

Fisher voiced the promotional ads at the front and back of the Barney Home Videos released from 1997-2004. Eventually, Fisher would branch out to announce for other for other IPs within the catalogue of Lyrick Studios and HIT Entertainment, owners of Barney, once they began distributing more properties.

Booker T. Bookworm[]

Towards the fourth season of Barney & Friends, new puppet characters were added to the cast of the show, including Scooter McNutty and Miss Etta Kette. Fisher auditioned for both roles but didn't get it. A few months later Fisher was called back into the studio. The crew of Barney & Friends showed him another character they had and asked him as to what he would do with the respective character. Fisher asked questions to get more acquainted with the character and he was also shown pictures of the character. Figuring out the voice for the new character the crew had, they eventually settled on a voice. The next day, Fisher's agent told him that he got the part of the new character, who was Booker T. Bookworm. The crew also told Fisher that he would puppeteer the character. While Fisher had no experience as a puppeteer,[1] Fisher was trained by Jim Kroupa, a puppeteer and puppet builder, for three days to prepare to puppeteer Booker T. Bookworm.[2]
