Eliana is a character who only appeared in the home video Celebrating Around The World as a dancer from Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. Eliana was portrayed by Ivana Gharbi.
During her appearance in Celebrating Around The World Eliana explains that every year, she and some more dancers dress up in their fanciest costumes and dance in the big Carnival parade. In the respective home video that Eliana appeared in, Barney takes his friends Ben and Tracy around the world to see the many ways that people celebrate. Eliana showcases how she and her friends samba dance during Carnival. During Carnival she explains to the others that they play many kinds of instruments as well.
Eliana also explains that the way in which they decide on what costumes to wear each year is by working together; further putting aside their differences to celebrate friendship which further leads to what the meaning of Carnival is all about.
As the big parade was about to start, Eliana was hoping that Barney and his friends could stay and celebrate with her and her friends in the big parade, though Barney and his friends had to leave due to their train being ready to take them to see more countries within the video. Eliana welcomed them to come back next year to hopefully see them do it again.
