Barney Goes to the Pet Shop is a 2000 children's picture book that was written by Mark S. Bernthal and photographed by Dennis Full. It was a book released in the "Go to" series.
The book was later released by Scholastic and HIT Entertainment when Barney was purchased by HIT.
Plot[]
Baby Bop wants to buy a birthday present for her pet hamster. So Barney takes BJ and Baby Bop to Miss Patty's Pet Shop in order to find the perfect gift. After going through every possible pet, the three finally settle on a hamster gym.
