Miss Goldfinch's house is a cuckoo clock treehouse that's only been seen in media and content related to Barney's Great Adventure. It's the residence of Mildred Goldfinch, who's a bird watcher. As mentioned in the film, Miss Goldfinch gets sent birds from all over the world who are sick, and once she helps them get well, most birds want to stay in her house.
Design[]
Forced perspective was used in the film to make the house appear full size, when the house was actually eight feet tall on an inclined foreground riser. The exterior set was built outdoors to take advantage of natural light.[1]

Trivia[]
- In the original script of Barney's Great Adventure, it was mentioned that Miss Goldfinch won her house in a contest due to writing a slogan for a birdseed company. The slogan, "Bixley Brothers Birdseed- The seed picky birds pick to peck", was the only entry in the contest.[2]
