Having Tens Of Fun!" is the seventeenth episode from the second season of Barney & Friends.

Plot

The kids are in for "tens of fun" when Barney's friend, "Mr. Tenagain" visits. His passion for all "things 10" leads to playing knick-knack, counting toes, the reading of "Ten, Nine, Eight" and an account of his trip to the moon in outer space. Snack time generates some antics in a pretend kitchen, and a delightful picnic - visited by some rather unusual ants! Finally, Mr. Tenagain leaves surprise instructions on "the nicest way to count to 10".

• On July 2, 1996, this episode was released on video as Barney's Parade of Numbers along with "Barney's Exercise Circus" on a two-pack. It was later re-released as a separate video in 1998.
• On September 2, 2001, this episode was also featured in the Blockbuster Exclusive video, Barney's Learning Round-Up (along with the Season 5 episodes, "What's In A Name?" and "Howdy, Friends!").

Trivia

• This episode marked:
  • The final televised appearance of Michael, as well as his final appearance as a regular cast member. He later returns as a guest cast member in the 10th anniversary special, Sing and Dance With Barney.
  • The first appearance of Mr. Tenagain and the only time he appeared with Kathy, Tosha, Michael and Min.
  • The final episode where "I Love You" is sung in D major.
    • However, the song will be later sung in D major in some home videos such as "Barney's Night Before Christmas", "Be My Valentine, Love Barney" and "Barney's Beach Party".
  • The final time "The Ants Go Marching" is sung in E and F minor.
    • In addition, after this episode, the song won't be sung in its original version until "Itty Bitty Bugs" (without counting the version sung in "Hats Off to BJ!" where this song is shortened).
  • The first time Baby Bop appears without BJ since his debut in "Look At Me, I'm 3!".
• If you count the songs sung in the episode, they are ten. This is most likely done to further tie in with the episode's theme.
  • In addition, the only songs in this episode that have nothing to do with the number 10, are "Aiken Drum" and "Hello, Goodbye".
• Min wears the same outfit from "May I Help You?".
• The version of "This Old Man" in this episode makes the song the only song ever to be sung in B, C, D-flat, D and E-flat major. Every future song will have just a change from B major to C major.
• Although not portraying Mr. Tenagain, R. Bruce Elliott (his portrayer) will return in fourteen years portraying Ryan's Grandpa in the episode "Grandpa's Visit".

Goofs

• Michael has the red number 10 on the front and the back of his soccer jacket. However, in "The Exercise Circus!", Michael has the red number 14 on the front and the back of his soccer jacket. This is likely to further tie in with this episode's theme.
• Although knowing how to count to "10" in this episode, Baby Bop does not know how to count to "10" in "A-Counting We Will Go!".
