Holly Doubet (born August 18, 1958 in Dallas, Texas) is an American composer and songwriter. Classically trained, Doubet attended the Royal Academy of Music in London to study classical piano. Following her time in London, she continued her education in California where she double majored in classical piano and voice. Having been in the music industry for two decades, she later found herself to be a songwriter for Barney & Friends in the late nineties.

After working in the music industry in Los Angeles and Las Vegas for nearly two decades, Doubet moved back to Dallas, Texas to raise her two sons. While there, she got the opportunity to be a songwriter for Barney & Friends, writing songs for the series in the late nineties. Doubet cited writing for the series as a great opportunity and loved every minute of it.[3][4]
