Plot

Barney and the kids explore a forest while listening to the different sounds there.

Hachaverim Shel Barney

• The frog puppet that appears in this version makes a quacking sound instead of a ribbiting sound.
• "Sarasponda" and "The Frog on a Log" were not sung in this version.
• The season one version of "I Love You" was used, with the vocals being taken from the Hebrew version of "A Splash Party, Please".
• The Barney doll appears to be playing drums on the tree stump at the end unlike in the original version where the doll sat by the stair steps to the school.

In the international dubbed versions, "Sarasponda" and "The Frog on the Log" are cut.

Clip/Audio Compilations

The story scene and the song clips for "Listen" and "Silly Sounds" were later featured in the library exclusive video, Love To Read, With Barney.

Trivia

• This episode reveals that Kathy's favorite sound is the owl sound.
• This group (Kathy, Tosha, Tina and Michael) appeared in "Home Sweet Homes" and "Red, Blue And Circles Too!".
• This is the first episode to where Barney and the kids actually travel to a new location (similar to the Backyard Gang series and Barney's Magical Musical Adventure), unlike "A Camping We Will Go!" where they used the playground as it was decorated with forest aesthetic.
• The same Mr. Honey Bear costume would later return in Barney's Super Singing Circus (with different eyes).
