Writing and composition

The song uses several lyrics of the closing song "I Love You (I Love Me Too)" from Barney's World, but it has the same music composition as the original version of "I Love You" from Barney & The Backyard Gang and Barney & Friends.

Release

A karaoke video of the song was uploaded to the official Barney YouTube channel on January 26, 2025. Prior to the official release of the song, an instrumental version of the song could be heard in various social reels, including Barney's "Love Day" message on February 14, 2024 and a social reel advertising the I Love You book. The song was released as a single on August 22, 2025.
