- "Laugh With Me" and "Boom, Boom, Ain't it Great to Be Crazy?" are recycled from Run, Jump, Skip and Sing! and "If You're Happy and You Know It" from Sing and Dance with Barney. Other than that, all of the songs were recorded directly for this album.
- The album was composed by David Bernard Wolf, and produced by Dennis DeShazer.
- The 2003 re-release claims to include a bonus track titled "Hale-Bopp Boogie", but no such track on the CD.
- The I Love You lullaby version is getting more faster than in Barney's Sleepytime Songs, based on the version used in some Season 3 episodes including Shawn and the Beanstalk, On the Move and A Welcome Home.
