Main roles[]

Barney & Friends[]

"My Family's Just Right for Me"[]

Kathy's not sure her "small" family measures up as it's just her mom, her grandmother, and herself within her family. Once Kathy mentions to Barney how small her family is, Barney tells her that she has a wonderful sized family. She eventually comes to realize that her family is just right for her.

"Caring Means Sharing"[]

Min and Kathy quarrel over whose turn it is to play with Barney (as a doll). Barney comes to life and intervenes upon learning what's happening between the two girls. After singing "The More We Share Together", Min and Kathy become friends again and both explain sharing from their perspectives with Kathy forgetting about the concept of sharing at school due to not having any siblings at home and Min, coming from a big family, is tired of sharing because she already has to share so much with her two brothers and two sisters. At the end of the episode, while Derek and Shawn leave, Min and Kathy stay behind to take turns expressing their affections to Barney (as a doll again) before going home.

"Happy Birthday, Barney!"[]

Kathy wants to give Barney a present on his birthday, but she doesn't know what to give him, so she decides to give up her teddy bear so that he could have a special birthday present. Barney returns him to her and explains that although presents are nice, she already gave him the best present of all: the gift of love.

"Alphabet Soup!"[]

Kathy and Min want to learn reading words like Derek and Tina. Throughout the episode, Derek helps them by writing a mystery word one letter at a time, while Barney and the others engage in songs and games related to each letter of the mystery word. Once the mystery word is fully written, Derek helps Min and Kathy read out the word. The mystery word is none other than "BARNEY".

"Doctor Barney Is Here!"[]

Kathy is sad because she is afraid of going to the doctor. Doctor Barney takes her through a make-believe doctor check-up to show her that the going to the doctor is easy. She eventually feels comfortable about her upcoming visit to the doctor.

Sing & Dance With Barney[]

During the camping trip, Kathy finds Linda alone near the tent. Linda is holding her teddy bear and explains that she didn't go with the others because she is afraid of the dark. Kathy tries to comfort Linda by sharing that she used to be scared too when she was younger but found that having a bear (her teddy bear) helped her feel better.
