Kurt Matthews Dykhuizen (born March 11, 1985 in Dallas, Texas) is an American anesthesiologist and a former child actor. He has a rare congenital disorder called Goldenhar's Syndrome and conductive hearing loss, but can hear well with hearing aids. Currently residing in Portland, Oregon, he works as an anesthesiologist at Oregon Anesthesiology Group, PC.[1] Prior to his occupation in medicine, he was best-known for portraying "Jason" on the children's television series Barney & Friends. Dykhuizen later reprised his role in home video Sing and Dance with Barney.

Following his time on Barney & Friends, Dykhuizen attended a mini reunion on the Barney & Friends set in Las Colinas in Irving, Texas with a few cast members from the first three seasons.
