Leah Mikel Montes (née Gloria; born March 29, 1978 in Keller, Texas) is a former American child actress who is known for her role as Luci in the Barney & The Backyard Gang videos and the first two seasons of Barney & Friends. After her time on Barney, she also appeared in one of the Totally For Kids PSAs for the Fox Network's children's block, Fox Kids in 1994 titled Sensitivity. After Sensitivity, Montes decided to quit acting to become a hairstylist; she currently owns her own hair salon in Fort Worth, Texas.

Barney & The Backyard Gang[]
Montes' agent from J&D Talent Agency got her an audition for Barney & The Backyard Gang.[1] Montes auditioned and landed the role of "Luci" for Barney & The Backyard Gang. Montes portrayed "Luci" for all the Barney & the Backyard Gang videos.
Barney & Friends[]
After Barney & the Backyard Gang ended, the video series was spun into a television series titled Barney & Friends. Montes continued to portray as "Luci" for the first season of Barney & Friends and a guest appearance in the second season.
Post-Barney[]
Montes attended a mini reunion on the Barney & Friends set at Las Colinas in Irving, Texas with a few cast members from the first three seasons.

Barney[]
Montes attended Fossil Hill Middle School, northeast of Fort Worth, TX.[2] Following her time on Barney & Friends, Montes would get recognized in public for her role as "Luci".[3]
Post-Barney[]
While appearing in the documentary I Love You, You Hate Me, after her time on Barney & Friends, Montes admitted that people would tease and make fun of her for acting in a show aimed at preschoolers.[4]
