Little Miss Muffet is a character who first appeared in the home video Can You Sing That Song?. She would later re-appear in the season ten Barney & Friends episode titled "Mother Goose". The character of Little Miss Muffet is based on the nursery rhyme of the same name.
In her debut appearance, she was portrayed by Arianna Movassagh and in her second/final appearance, she was portrayed by Makayla Crawford.
In Can You Sing That Song?, she was a special guest on the game show, after her rhyme was part of a question for BJ to answer. Once BJ landed on the surprise box, Barney made the introduction of her to the audience. As Barney said her rhyme while sitting on her tuffet, the spider came beside her, prompting her to runaway from it. As mentioned in the video, she mentions to Barney and BJ that despite how the rhyme goes, she's not afraid of the spider as it's a game they both like to play where the spider sneaks up on her and she runs away. She'd then proceed to ask the next question on the game show, to which the answer is "Itsy Bitsy Spider". She, Barney and BJ then proceed to sing the song in front of the audience. After the song, BJ allows her to move to the next space and afterwards her spider friend sneaks up on her again, prompting her to run.
In "Mother Goose", she comes to the caboose looking for Mother Goose as she needs her help. Explaining that she's looked all over The Land of Mother Goose, Little Miss Muffet explains to Barney, BJ and Baby Bop that she lost her tuffet. She further emphasizes that if she doesn't have her tuffet, she won't have all of her rhyme. Barney, BJ and Baby Bop then proceed to sing the missing part of her rhyme given that she can't do all of it. Eventually, Mother Goose comes to the caboose to give Little Miss Muffet her tuffet as she found it laying around the land.
