"Make It Myself" is the ninth of the Barney's World shorts. The short premiered in the US on Cartoon Network on October 4, 2024.

Plot

Vivie is hard at work on a sandcastle, and Barney is excited to see it. Just as she is about to show him, a stray soccer ball from the playground smashes into her sandcastle, destroying it. Barney is sympathetic, understanding how frustrating it must be to have her work demolished, and offers to rebuild it for her. Vivie refuses, explaining how she was proud to make it on her own, and feels defeated. After Barney asks her what her favorite part of building was, Vivie realizes that she enjoyed using her imagination and finding all the pieces to build it.

Vivie invites Barney to help her build a new sandcastle by the Greenhouse. After finding her some seashells, Barney and Vivie finish the sandcastle palace. Vivie excitedly declares that she can't wait to get back to the building process, and destroys her castle to make way for another one. Barney states he is very pleased to see her so proud.
