Barney Wiki

Miss Etta Kette was a character who appeared in Seasons 4-6 of Barney & Friends. She was a bird who spoke with a Southern accent and lived in the treehouse with Scooter McNutty. She was puppeteered and voiced by the late Brice Armstrong.

Miss Etta Kette's name was a play on the word Etiquette. She usually gave very good advice, and bad things often happen to those who do not heed her advice. One of the most notable instances of this effect appeared in the episode, "Circle of Friends", as Miss Etta warned BJ about not eating too much. He promptly ignores this, overeating and eventually learning that she was right all along.
