Monét Andrea Clewis (née Clewis; born April 10, 1985 in Dallas, Texas) is an American actress who is known for her roles in the films, Crooklyn and Black Angels.[1] One of her earliest acting roles was portraying the role of of Alissa in the children's television series, Barney & Friends. She is the identical twin sister of Maurié Chandler who portrayed the role of Ashley, also on Barney & Friends.

Following the filming of the film Crooklyn in New Jersey, Clewis and her twin sister Maurié Maolud returned to Texas and received a new agent from Kim Dawson Agency in Dallas who landed them an audition for an opening casting call for Barney & Friends. During the auditioning process, it came down to Clewis and Maolud, and another set of twins with the two sets of twins being called to each room back to back. Towards the end of the audition, Clewis and Maolud were notified that they were chosen for the roles of "Ashley" and "Alissa" on Barney & Friends.[2]
