Samantha is a character who who only appeared in the episode "Trail Boss Barney" which was a part of the eleventh season of Barney & Friends. Samantha was portrayed by Tiffany McEvers.
In the respective episode, Samantha was cleaning a saddle with assistance from Baby Bop while they were on a working ranch in the park. Once Barney, Baby Bop and the children went to check out the pony they saw in the park, they left Samantha who continued to clean the horse saddles.
She'd later join Riff and Grady Spears to help prepare the picnic before everyone else came. She'd later help out with the picnic by getting the spoons. Samantha would also help out by getting the cups as she joins everyone in singing and dancing to "Gonna Have A Picnic" while preparing. She'd later join everyone in singing "The More We Work Together" as they discussed about working together on a ranch, in which she she tells everyone that she polishes the saddles for the ponies. Towards the end of the episode she'd join everyone in singing "A Friend Like You" as she goes over to pet the pony in the park.
