Suzanne Lockridge (October 17, 1950 - July 6, 2024) was an American costume designer and co-founder of Irene Corey Design Associates. She is most notable for her work constructing the costumes for Barney & Friends.

Suzanne discovered her love for sewing at a young age when she spent her vacation time learning to sew from her grandmother, Vallie Lockridge (Irene Corey's mother). Later on she attributed her artistic development to the mentorship she received from her aunt and grandmother[1]

Suzanne graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1979[2]. After spending some time in freelance painting[1], her aunt, Irene Corey approached her wanting to know if she was interested in starting a costume design shop together. Each contributed $1000 to the business and Irene Corey Design Associates was born.

Suzanne has designed and constructed full-body mascot costumes for many high profile clients including: Hershey's, Paramount Pictures, Chick-Fil-A, Fire Fox and HP, among others.

After Irene Corey retired in 1995, Suzanne continued running Irene Corey Design Associates until her own retirement in 2015. She passed away in 2024 at the age of 73.
