"The Barney Boogie" is an original Barney song that debuted in the album of same name and in the video Movin' and Groovin' as a bonus music video, as both titles were released on the same day. The song was the inspiration for the album of the same name.

Background[]

The dance for "The Barney Boogie" was created from scratch by Adam Ulevitch and Brandy Cole, who did the logo and packaging for Movin' and Groovin'. A professional would eventually come in and fine tune the moves for the song.[1]

Music video[]

"The Barney Boogie" is the first Barney song to have an actual music video for it. The music video was shot in Universal Orlando Resort.
