"The Floor is Grape Jelly" is the first episode of season one, as well as the series premiere of Barney's World.

Plot

When David gets annoyed for being called home early to help with his baby sister, Barney creates a magical game to show David how good it feels to help others.

"The Floor is Grape Jelly" was released on YouTube on October 11, 2024, ahead of the show's official premiere. Following afterwards, it made its official premiere on the steaming service Max on October 14, 2024. A linear premiere of the episode would occur on October 18, 2024 on Cartoonito, the preschool block of Cartoon Network.

  • The first original episode of the franchise since the original 2009 episode "Home Sweet Earth: The Rainforest" (released on home video as Barney's Jungle Friends) and the first original content in the Barney franchise on video since the 2014 home video A Super-Dee-Duper Day.
