"The Stranger Song" is an original Barney song that only appeared in "Playing It Safe".
Lyrics
- Never talk to strangers,
- That's very good advice.
- 'Cause you just can't tell
- If they're good or bad,
- Even though they may seem nice.
- Even though they may seem nice.
- Don't get in their car (no, no!)
- Don't take anything from them. (no, no!)
- Just turn around (Yeah!)
- And walk away (Yeah!)
- Go back and tell a grownup friend! (Oh yeah!)
- Go back and tell a grownup friend!
- Never talk to strangers
- That's very good advice.
- Cause you just can't tell
- If they're good or bad,
- Even though they may seem nice.
- Even though they may seem nice.
- Don't get in their car (no, no!)
- Don't take anything from them. (no, no!)
- Just turn around (Yeah!)
- And walk away (Yeah!)
- Go back and tell a grownup friend! (Oh yeah!)
- Go back and tell a grownup friend!
- Don't get in their car (no, no!)
- Don't take anything from them. (no, no!)
- Just turn around (Yeah!)
- And walk away (Yeah!)
- Go back and tell a grownup friend! (Oh yeah!)
- Go back and tell a grownup friend!
- Go back and tell a grownup friend!
Trivia
- There has been some controversy that Barney once said "A stranger is a friend you haven't met" in Playing It Safe (a rumor started on the alt.barney.dinosaur.die.die newsgroup), but he says the opposite in both the episode and this song.
