"The Whole Truth" is the second half of the fourth episode from the eleventh season of Barney & Friends.

Plot

An artist painter (Sarah) is painting a portrait of Barney, but when she has to step away, BJ is mistaken for the artist of the portrait. BJ has a hard time correcting this misunderstanding. The others beg him to teach them to paint like that! In the end, BJ admits the truth and learns that honesty is the best policy.

  • Sarah, a character played by Hayden Tweedie in seasons seven and eight, returned to the series in this episode. It is revealed that her character has become a professional painter (prior to this, she already showcased her artistic side in some episodes like On Again, Off Again and A Perfectly Purple Day).

    • The second time Sarah painted a picture of Barney, the first time being "That Makes Me Mad".
