Role in series[]

Barney & Friends[]

"Be A Friend"[]

Tosha wishes that she had a friend to play with given that her family recently moved and given that she doesn't know anyone. Once Barney springs to life, he introduces her to some of his other friends. Worried that they wouldn't like her, Barney reassures her that they would. After meeting, she and the other kids learn why doing things with friends is much more fun. At the end, Derek and Michael give her a picture they helped create. With the picture, it helps Tosha remember the day that she met everyone.

"A Very Special Delivery!"[]

Tosha has a big surprise for Barney and the kids. The surprise involves her family, as her mother is expecting new additions. Throughout the episode, Tosha keeps the details of the surprise hidden until the end, when it is revealed that her mother has given birth to twin boys named Kevin and Kyle.

Imagination Island[]

Tosha and Min are having a sleepover, during which Tosha's mother reads them a story about Imagination Island. However, she cannot finish the story due to Tosha's twin baby brothers. When Barney comes to life, he takes Tosha and Min on an imaginative adventure to Imagination Island. During their journey, they encounter various challenges, including a storm that strands them on the island from on top of some palm trees. There, they meet Professor Tinkerputt, a toy inventor who doesn't like to share. Tosha helps Professor Tinkerputt understand the value of sharing by offering her heart-shaped necklace to fix his balloon machine, which ultimately helps the group escape the island.

Trivia[]

  • In "I Can Be A Firefighter!", Tosha mentions that she only told her mom about the fire that she saw in the house kitchen, however in Barney Safety, she mentions that she told both her parents about the fire.
  • In the original script of the film Barney's Great Adventure, Tosha was initially set to be the cousin of Marcella, a main character in the film. In the film, Tosha would've sent Barney (as a plush) on summer vacation with Marcella in a box. Tosha even instructed Marcella as to how Barney works, with her writing that she needs to use her imagination for a big surprise.[1]
