The Treehouse served as a secondary setting during Seasons 3 through 6 of Barney & Friends. It was located outside of the School and next to the playground.
Design History[]
In its first iteration, the Treehouse was smaller, and the path of footsteps leading up to it led to the right.
In Seasons 4-6, the Treehouse was renovated. A large round table and a ship wheel were added, as well as benches that faced the outside deck. In addition, a lookout with stairs and a slide that connects the aforementioned lookout to the back of the Treehouse were incorporated.
The Treehouse set was demolished in 2000 with the rest of the original set pieces.
Live Show Appearances[]
Modified versions of the Treehouse appeared in both Barney's Big Surprise and Barney's Theatre (with the Barney's Theatre iteration featuring a self-referential song).
