There are two things I ask assistance for, if possible. Both of these go in regards to Barney's Big Surprise.
First of all:
The CD recording of the show has two versions. One with a cast photo from the first leg of the tour shown in the souvenir program, the other with the cast from the video. I ordered a CD copy of the soundtrack years ago, but that copy had the former picture. The copy I had as a kid had a picture of the latter cast. If anyone could dig that picture up and post it in the comments I'd be much obliged. Both pictures are in the back of the case behind the disc.
Over the last few years I've been making up a mock tour schedule for Barney's Big Surprise. It's been made up from multiple sources including a scan from Barney …
On my last blog I tried to discuss something of popular debate here on Barney Wiki. As we all know, the BYG Barney dolls have become the holy grail for Barney collectors. They're neither easy to find nor easily priced ($200 on eBay). I said on my last blog I tried to make one of my own. A small-scale version, about to be exact. But in retrospect, it seems cheaply done compared to another one I made.
See what I mean? However, I'll let you be the judge of these 2 inch replicas I made.
What do YOU think?
I know I haven't made a mark here in a while, so I thought I should at least leave something. I understand that a lot of the BYG dolls are going for a lot on eBay and I thought I'd sweeten that up a bit for you guys. I looked at a few pictures of it and made my own mini version of it. It fits in the palm of your hand, although it may not look exactly like the real one. If you like it, I can make a sewing pattern for you to use to make your own version. If it's not big enough, you can resize it to make an actual size version of you like. I'll have the sewing pattern up later.
So what do you think?
Barney seems to have lost popularity in America and Hit Entertainment is doing practically nothing about it. They're still making DVD's, of the same recent episodes. There are no more Barney concert tours or episodes, or even documentaries. Barney merchandise has been pulled off the shelves of every toy store for the past two years even after a 25th anniversary comeback in toys. There's practically nothing new from Barney and they're not even trying to make the show popular again in America. What do you have to say about that? IF YOU'RE GOING TO TROLL OR SAY ANYTHING NEGATIVE IN THE LEAST, I WILL NOT TOLERATE IT.
Can any of you get access to the Barney Pledge Drive video on YouTube posted by battybarney1995. It's been deleted and if any of you have Youtube channels, can you get to those videos and upload them to your channels? It's time that those videos see the light of day again!
