Plot
After BJ bangs him drum loudly, Barney teaches the kids that the noise BJ made was actually a rhythm! Therefore, Barney and the kids learn all about the importance of rhythm.

- This is the seventh time on the series something happens to the Barney doll before coming to life. It was when the Barney doll fell down out of the lookout on the slide after the block tower collapsed because of all of that booming
- In the middle of the episode, the season 3 BJ costume was used.
- This is the only time Hannah and Maria appear together.
- The is the fourteenth episode where time lapse is used. In "Boom, Boom, Ain't It Great To Be Crazy?", Chip, Ashley and Hannah are in their crazy costumes while staring at the camera. There is also a movable freeze frame of Chip in a crazy costume holding toys.
- ashley looks carzy with those clown sunglasses in that jumbo clown hat on her head
